Welcome to Arunachalam Preschool & Daycare! Nurturing young minds with Montessori education.
The Pre-KG program at Arunachalam Preschool is a gentle introduction to the world of learning. Designed for children aged 3 to 4 years, this program focuses on building a strong foundation through the Montessori method. Our nurturing environment helps children transition smoothly from home to school.
In this crucial early stage, we focus on developing independence, social skills, and a love for exploration. Children learn through hands-on activities that engage their senses and natural curiosity.
Our Pre-KG program focuses on five key areas of development that build the foundation for lifelong learning.
Children develop fine motor skills, concentration, and independence through activities like pouring, spooning, buttoning, and caring for themselves and their environment.
Children refine their five senses through specially designed Montessori materials. Activities include sorting colors, matching sizes, exploring textures, and auditory discrimination.
Rich language environment with vocabulary building, storytelling, rhymes, and pre-reading activities that develop listening skills and early phonetic awareness.
Introduction to numbers, counting, and basic mathematical concepts through concrete materials like number rods and sandpaper numbers.
Introduction to the world around them through geography, nature, music, and art. Children explore colors, create crafts, and sing songs.
Developing social skills, emotional awareness, and building positive relationships with peers and teachers in a nurturing environment.
Our daily schedule provides structure while allowing flexibility for children to follow their interests and work at their own pace.
